Based on a photo recently shared on Instagram by Henry Yau of Houston, the Estes Park, Colorado place of lodging delivers on its ghostly promises. Believer or not, it’s tough to deny there’s a figure on the staircase in the picture.
Yau told GeoBeats, “I wanted to take a panoramic photo of the grand stairwell and lobby right after dinner. Don’t remember anyone being on the grand staircase because I usually don’t like people in my shots. When I took it, I didn’t notice anything.”
Lo and behold, he checked the photos on his iPhone the following day and there it was. A ghost expert has since looked over the photo, declaring the presence and the image legit.
He also pointed out there is another mysterious, somewhat childlike figure standing nearby. The woman may be the ghost of Flora Stanley, the late wife of the hotel’s founder.
She’s said to roam about andoccasionally play a melody the hotel’s Steinway when night comes.
