Pakistan: SHC chief justice’s son Owais Ali goes missing

Pakistan – Owais Ali Shah, son of Sindh High Court (SHC) Chief Justice Justice Sajjad Ali Shah, has been missing from yesterday.

According to media reports, Owais went for shopping at a shopping mall in Clifton, and has not been heard from since. However, his car has been recovered from outside the shopping mall.
According to eye witnesses, Owais was taken away by men in white shalwar qameez, adding that he resisted kidnapping and fought with the alleged abductors.
Sindh Chief Minister Qaim Ali Shah has taken the notice of the incident and ordered the authorities concerned to recover the son of Sindh High Court’s CJP.
The chief minister also ordered police chief to set up check points across the city to keep all movement at check. He has asked the officials to leave no stones unturned in searching for the missing.
